I once went up to a friend of mine and offered her a fag and started chatting (I don’t usually smoke..). She said ‘thank God someone has come to talk to me…I feel like a leper’. She was in her wedding dress. Everyone else was at some distance waiting for the photos to be over.

I am starting to feel like her now. But I’m not getting married I’m getting divorced. I think everyone’s waiting for the dust to settle. I don’t know. Noone’s talking to me. So I am starting to really feel it. And the dust’s going to be up in the air for a long time.

So I went for a walk in the rain today-and believe me- Singapore is the perfect place for that.

And I made this pointless flower arrangement for myself complete with polystyrene birds with painted biro-top beaks. Because I used to be a florist with an apron.... (for about 6 months…).

Emma: Scarlet's favourite is yours; and it's my fav. too. Julie: loads of people like your fish; r u doing that art therapy course?. Kirsty: thanks for guesting as famous artist ..... no one was inhibited, honest!! Were you impressed by the way I turned that green blob around to pull out a passable golden horsey one!!! :) Claire: yours is so great- like a textile. Sorry Vaila for hanging yours the wrong way round- I forgot the landscape/portrait instruction: heck; I'm not an art teacher.
